Student Financial Fund

The SEED Financial Fund is a program within SETU that provides financial support to students who may be experiencing financial difficulties while pursuing their education. The fund is designed to help eligible students cover unexpected expenses, such as medical bills or emergency travel expenses, that may hinder their academic progress. The SEED Financial Fund is open to all registered SETU students who meet the eligibility criteria. To apply, students must fill out an application form and provide supporting documentation to demonstrate their financial need. The application is reviewed by a committee who evaluates the request and makes a decision based on the student's circumstances. The fund is supported by donations from alumni, staff, and supporters of SETU who wish to contribute to the success of students. These donations are used to support the SEED Financial Fund and other student support initiatives within the university.

Studying Problems?

SETU offers a range of study aids and resources to help students succeed in their academic pursuits. The university recognizes that studying at a higher level can be challenging, and it provides various support services to assist students in achieving their academic goals. One of the most valuable resources available to students at SETU is the academic support services. The university has a team of experienced tutors who provide one-on-one support to students who may be struggling with their coursework. These tutors offer assistance with subject-specific material, study skills, and exam preparation. The university also has an extensive library system, with a range of resources available to students, including books, journals, and online databases. The libraries are staffed by knowledgeable librarians who can help students find the resources they need for their research and assignments.

Susi Grant

The SUSI grant is a financial aid program available to eligible students in Ireland who wish to pursue higher education. The grant is provided by the Irish government to help students cover the costs associated with attending college, such as tuition fees, accommodation, and living expenses. To be eligible for the SUSI grant, students must meet certain criteria, such as being a resident of Ireland, meeting the nationality and immigration status requirements, and being enrolled in an approved course at an approved institution, such as SETU. The grant is means-tested, meaning that the amount of funding a student is eligible for is determined based on their financial situation. The SUSI grant is divided into several categories, including maintenance grants, fee grants, and postgraduate grants. The maintenance grant provides funding to cover the cost of living expenses, such as accommodation and food, while the fee grant covers the cost of tuition fees. The postgraduate grant provides funding to students who wish to pursue postgraduate studies.
